Requirements

You need a compatible Fluxer desktop installation on Windows or Linux and permission to update its application files. Keep a way to obtain a clean Fluxer installation if recovery is needed.

On Linux, Fluxer packages under /opt usually belong to root. The injector reports those installs as read-only unless your account can write to them; see compatibility.

If you download the injector, that is all you need. The rest of this page is for building it from source.

Build tools (building from source only)

To build the injector yourself, install these tools first:

Tool	Version or requirement
Git	To obtain the source checkout
Node.js	22.12 or newer
pnpm	10.15.1, matching the repository
Rust	Stable toolchain, including Cargo
Native build dependencies	Tauri 2 prerequisites for your operating system

On Windows, Tauri needs Microsoft C++ build tools and WebView2. On Linux, it needs WebKitGTK and the development libraries for your distribution. Follow the official Tauri prerequisites before attempting the build.

Check your terminal

node --version
pnpm --version
rustc --version
cargo --version
git --version

In Windows PowerShell, if the pnpm script is blocked by execution policy, use pnpm.cmd wherever these docs say pnpm. You do not need to change your execution policy.
